Ganesh Puja (Ganeshotsav) is a widely celebrated festival in Baleshwar, bringing communities together for devotional activities, cultural programs, and beautifully decorated pandals. Ahead of the celebrations and immersion ceremonies, local administrative authorities and the Baleshwar Police conducted a high-level peace committee meeting at Gandhi Smruti Bhawan to ensure the festival is celebrated safely and peacefully. The meeting focused on public safety, traffic and crowd management, fire-safety protocols, cleanliness, and coordination with Ganesh Puja committees across the district. Authorities also discussed necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of immersion processions, helping ensure a secure, orderly, and environmentally responsible Ganeshotsav for residents and visitors.
